About
This is a club inspired by the vote16 movement happening in Canada. Instead of starting a campaign, this club will gather students with interest in politics, and use the power of their pens to write politics related articles that they think is fun. We believe that only teenagers know the needs of other teenagers the best. The articles will then be published online and authors of selected articles will receive monetary rewards.
Students interested can become a member or sign our petition to change the law. Eventually, all the work done by the club will accumulate and will be presented to impactful political figures for endorsements.
What Makes Us
Unique
Most club/movements inspired by the vote16 motion focus on the campaign itself and creating attention politically, but our club will focus on the education of the affected population themselves - teenagers - and change the low voter turnout rate from the root.
Successfully doing this would benefit the entire Canadian population as it provides more voice to the politics circle with a wider variation of representation; it can build the habit of voting amongst teenagers starting from highschool, which will have a high chance of sticking with them for their entire life.
